Filed to ESPN: New Orleans pulled off free-agent upset, reaching agreement with former 49ers DT Aubrayo Franklin on a one-year deal.

Aubrayo Franlin was our 2nd best graded DT last season vs the run, Rogers top pass-rushing DT over last 3 years, Saints now have both.

Franklin also T2nd last season in defensive stops against the run by a DT. Only Kyle Williams had more (Suh tied 2nd)

I think it would be a lot easier to go from a 3-4 to a 4-3 than to do the opposite as a DT.
