only the ignorant people who said "Nah, too much money involved. Wont be a lockout" said there would be an agreement and no lockout.Also, im pretty sure thats what a lot of people said about reaching a new agreement. People said a lockout wasnt going to happen and a deal would be done soon...

Problem is they failed to understand that 'There is too much money involved for it to be settled before the deadline'.
There will be a season and the main reason is the Owners could get a major backlash from the public, cities, etc. Why? Who do you think help fund the construction of these stadiums? The City that you build it in. Public money. And for that reason alone and the potential for lawsuits against the owners or the NFL, this will be settled one way or another.
Only way there is no NFL season or it is at least delayed is if no agreement is met by June. Thats what many people think is that time where it becomes inevitable the season will be delayed, because of lack of workouts, minicamps, free agency, trading, and weight conditioning.
