Made this tool to help yall out with your FA contracts this offseason

• Under CONTRACT YEARS, type in the length of the contract desired, which would be between 1-5 years. Obviously you can't offer a fifth year to someone without their bird rights.
• Under PERCENT INCREASE, type in your desired annual percent increase, ranging from 0-12.5%. The maximum increase is 10% on someone without bird years.
• Under YEARS EXPERIENCE, type in the amount of years the player has been in the NBA for, which can be found on their profile. In this tool, anything in excess of 10 is numerically the same, so the values would fall in the range of 0-10.

• Under STARTING VALUE, you have a few more options.

• Simply type in the amount you want to pay your player in Year 1
• If you want to offer a mid-level exception, type in MLE
If you want to offer a lower-level exception, type in LLE
If you are offering a max contract, type in MAX. Make sure your YEARS EXPERIENCE is correct to yield the right value.
If you are offering a minimum salary, type in MIN. Make sure your YEARS EXPERIENCE is correct to yield the right value.

Now remember, the active FA rules do still apply, I just couldn't work them all into the tool. So despite the tool saying its possible, remember:
• You cannot offer an MLE/LLE to a restricted Free Agent
• You cannot offer a multi-year minimum contract
• You cannot offer a multi-year MLE/LLE
• You cannot exceed the maximum salary in a single year
