arty: FLIP! has done it. The big milestone, TEN THOUSAND POSTS.
Sportz Insomnia is the best site ever with all of the awesome community that keeps the board strong. I have been a member here for a long time, over 2 years, and have finally reached this posting achievement. I become the 14th member in SI History to get 10,000 posts or more, and am the first resident of Canada to do it.
Well I was one of those "noobs looking for CAPs", because I was a perfectionist who just had to have my rosters as perfect as can be. I searched the Internet for NBA Live 2005 CAPs and wound up on IGN.com, finding all this nice stuff - CAPs, Ratings Edits, Jersey Number Edits, Gear Edits, Position Edits posted by the likes of adidas31telfair (Kraig), bestkeptsecret and Sidewalkchalk (CC06). They posted links to view more stuff at their invisionfree website NBA Live Insomnia, so I just had to join. I just kept on logging on to view the new added stuff and eventually starting posting in the Sports Forums, and then started to make my own CAPs, Edits, Roster Updates. The trend lived on with Live 06 and Live 07. Then I became a part of the Sim Leagues which grew my knowledge on a lot about Sports. When I first joined the MLB Sim, I did it for fun and I didn't know anyhting about the MLB (I was a noob at drafting because I didn't know anybody and wasn't sure of the trades I made). Truly I know nothing about the NFL and joining this Sim will hopefully expand my knowledge. I had my tenures as a G-Mod and Mod here and maybe one day I get myself back to Staff status.
