Super-agent Scott Boras doesn't generally swing at the first pitch. And he's got till the end of next season to try and swing some kind of lucrative deal with the Milwaukee Brewers for his client Prince Fielder, whom he calls a "rare, rare commodity."

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that Boras turned down an offer from the Brewers that was worth more than $100 million for five years for his client.
Boras was quick to point out that Fielder, 26, has put 181 balls over the fence in his 764 major league games. "Every other player that has that by his age is a Hall of Famer," he told the paper.

The paper notes that the Brewers aren't likely to have the kind of dough Boras wants for his client and the common belief is that the Brewers will have to trade Fielder, either before the July 31 trade deadline or during the coming offseason.

This is why people don't like Boras. Although he always seems to be the best at his job, I just hate how he works.

He'll probably end up in Boston or some team who could afford him.

The Red Sox have a huge hard on for Adrian Gonzalez so I expect them to sign Agon. As for Boras, this is what he tries to do by mentioning these "ghost" teams that are in the running or stating these stupid opinions about certain players that he represents. But Fielder is pretty legit and the numbers speak for themselves. But at this moment I dont see many teams lining up for him to turn it into a bidding war.
