Falcons sign James Sanders

Former Patriots safety James Sanders and the Atlanta Falcons agreed to terms on a one-year contract Tuesday, a source familiar with the deal told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Sanders provides the Falcons with much needed safety depth. He can play both free and strong safety. I like the move.

I like the move for the Falcons also, I don't know if I'd rely on him as a starter but like you said, he's good versatile depth.
