Embiid Out Of Running For #1?

I just don't see that logic

If they like Embiid, they'll take him no matter what. His ceiling is much higher than the others. If all three reach their peaks, who would you rather have: Paul Pierce, an upgraded offensively Paul George, or Hakeem Olajuwon??

If they think he'll be fine, you don't pass on him

it is a big if though.
Plus they already have a decent center in place and no wing players to speak of.

not to mention larry sanders doesn't have the easiest contract or skillet to trade.

Embiid will be very good if he reaches his peak, but he'll never be Hakeem. That's an outrageous comparison.

Yeah, I meant to edit my post and say that.
 
You can't compare Jabari and Wiggins to Pierce and George and then say Embiid is Hakeem.
