Cincinnati Reds closer Aroldis Chapman allegedly fired eight gunshots in the garage of his Miami-area home following an October argument with his girlfriend in which she told police he “choked†her and pushed her against a wall, according to police reports obtained by Yahoo Sports.

Exactly, it's just a fact. They've been two of the biggest problems in the MLB (off the field for Both, on the field for Chapman)

Dodgers have the ability to back out of this deal. Apparently the Red Sox were going to pull the trigger on a deal last season and they were aware of this domestic violence incident and that's what deterred them.

Chapman's involvement may cause him to be suspended. If the suspension is long enough, he will not be able to be a free agent after this season.
The deal is not dead just yet, but it will require a great deal of legal "checking".
