Dennis Schroeder and the Atlanta Hawks have agreed upon a four-year, $70 million contract extension.

The Hawks traded away Jeff Teague in the offseason in a move that signaled their commitment to Schroeder long-term at point guard.

Schroeder averaged 11.0 points, 2.6 rebounds and 4.4 assists in 20.3 minutes per game last season with a PER of 15.5.

Schroeder was the 17th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft out of Germany.
