we weren't actually stripped of the super bowl, for those who were wondering

But actually tho

$1M fine is ridiculous. 4th rounder is a fair punishment. 1st rounder is absolutely asinine.
Brady should not have been suspended. I will say that until there is ACTUAL evidence that says otherwise. The 4 game suspension isn't what I'm most upset about -- its the picks that we lost.

Because you are an extremely biased person, and an anti-Boston fan.

Literally check Reddit. Browns fans, Dolphins fans, Colts fans, etc... all think this punishment is excessive.

Unless they chose 4 games because they knew Brady would appeal, and really intended it as a 2 game suspension, 4 games is too much.

If I truly thought the Pats were absolutely guilty, like the NFL clearly does, I would think a 2 game susp for Brady + 4th or 5th rounder + $500K fine is fair. But double the suspension, double the fine, AND an additional 1st round pick? That's absurd.

I'm anti-Boston? Lol What the fuck...

I just actually read the report where there was loads and loads of evidence to support their findings that these balls were purposely deflated and Brady was involved. "More probable than not" literally means that in legal terms.

Now if you want to say the first rounder was excessive, then yeah I agree. But I would be willing to bet if the picks aren't taken then Brady gets more games. Which I would have agreed with. Hell I could argue that the deliberate cheating to gain an advantage then lying about doing it should have gotten Brady more then four games with the pick.

I've asked you now 3-4 times to find me specific points within the document where there was evidence. Just list me the individual page numbers.

There. Is. No. Evidence.

There's probable chance that Brady was involved, according to the report. But that doesn't even matter -- you cannot punish him for deflating the footballs because there is no evidence at all.

Just to point out how stupid you really are -- BRADY WAS NOT SUSPENDED FOR DEFLATING FOOTBALLS. THE NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS WERE NOT PENALIZED FOR DEFLATING FOOTBALLS.

They were penalized for an "obstruction-of-justice" type of ruling, and for previous team history of reported cheating. They were not actually suspended for the deflation. But please. Find this evidence in which nobody in the NFL used as a factor towards his suspension

I'm not listing evidence from my phone, but if you can't find evidence in the document then I suggest talking to your parents about sending you back through elementary school. There's literally evidence of Brady showering these two ball boys with gifts and money, texts and phone calls between Brady and the ball boys, on top of other things.

I don't agree with the punishment because I just think it's too harsh in general, but I also don't think you need "hard" evidence to find them guilty. You make assumptions based on the circumstantial evidence, as you would in any court case.

Wait. Hold on a minute.

Did the guy who attended River Parishes Community Collegea school that probably accepts every student that applies to it and only costs $6,000 in tuition, just call for me to go back to school? hahahhahahahahahahahah dude, fucking come on. I've never seen a school that lowly ranked, and there are some pretty shitty schools nearby my home in Connecticut. Give me a fucking break: if anyone needs a higher education, its you.

Now, back on topic -- yes, Brady gave gifts to the two employees. I would be shocked to find out if he didn't do this with every employee. He's the face of the franchise, it would be bad if he didn't. I bet Peyton's done this as well.

There is still no evidence stating Brady did anything. You can presume as much information as you want, but there is nothing at all that says he was in charge of the ball's deflation. In legal processing, Brady is innocent. Whether the NFL wants to go by legal processes, as Brady is technically an employee by the NFL, is a completely different issue (and that's why he got suspended). Assuming a non-biased independent reviews the appeals by Brady and Kraft, the punishments should  be lessened. But then again, the last independent hired by the NFL (Wells) was hardly independent, as he had already been paid multi-millions by the league on previous cases.

They're definitely out of line for including his "lack of cooperation" as a reason for the punishment.

This is going to be a lengthy appeal process regardless. My bet is Brady is playing week 1.

What a clown

And lmao at the "he gives every employee gifts" comment. It must be nice to that gullible. I'm sure Tom Terrific gives all 140+ members of the Pats staff autographed balls and jerseys, shoes, and $500-1000 dollars each because he is so terrific. What a guy.

Damn this was a bit severe. A 2 game suspension and maybe like a 2nd rounder wouldve sufficed lol.

What if the Patriots didn't show up for their first 4 games and just took a forfeit, and then went undefeated? I'm actually rooting for that
