The thing that I keep hearing is, if it doesn't matter, then why do it? From my understanding the officials put all balls at 13 psi and the Patriots 11 balls that were measured measured at an average of of 11.1 psi. The Colts GM also sent an email the day before the game with a message from the Colts equipment guy attached saying that it was common knowledge in the league that the Pats deflated game balls for Brady because he likes them smaller so he can grip the ball better, and the Colts requested that the officials check air pressures in the balls to make sure the Pats aren't getting a competitive advantage.King Rawky said:I feel like the advantage of 1psi is negligible. I'm the first to say fuck the patriots but I never did and still don't expect them to be disciplined much.
