I feel like the advantage of 1psi is negligible. I'm the first to say fuck the patriots but I never did and still don't expect them to be disciplined much.
The thing that I keep hearing is, if it doesn't matter, then why do it? From my understanding the officials put all balls at 13 psi and the Patriots 11 balls that were measured measured at an average of of 11.1 psi. The Colts GM also sent an email the day before the game with a message from the Colts equipment guy attached saying that it was common knowledge in the league that the Pats deflated game balls for Brady because he likes them smaller so he can grip the ball better, and the Colts requested that the officials check air pressures in the balls to make sure the Pats aren't getting a competitive advantage.

especially when the Pats fucking RAN the ball for over 170 yards in the game. The colts couldn't stop the goddamn run, that's why they lost the game

The Patriots are the better team, I don't think the outcome of the game has anything to do with this. It's the part about tampering with the game and doctoring the balls that's a big deal.

BECAUSE EVERY FUCKING QB IN THE LEAGUE DOES IT!

Brees, Peyton, Eli, Rodgers, Roethlisberger, etc... They all doctor the balls to their own personal liking, because their job is to fucking throw a goddamn football. This isn't a fucking story, and it wouldn't be if this were Andy fucking Dalton and not a New England Patriot. Yall are literally just fishing for ways to stop the Pats because we've been so successful.

Lol you really need to stop with the excuse making. "Every QB does it," but they have another big time QB on the other sideline who was found to play within the rules. So obviously that isn't true. That's your difference. They play within league rules, Brady does not.

i don't know why the nfl doesn't just check every ball right before the game starts on the sidelines to ensure that cant happen to begin with.

DeflateGate punishments could come Friday

The Boston Herald reports a ruling on "DeflateGate" could come as early as Friday.

Ted Wells released his 243-page report Wednesday, revealing that New England likely committed a violation by manipulating footballs during the Patriots AFC Championship win over Indianapolis. While the blame has mostly been placed on Tom Brady and New England's two ball attendants, John Jastremski and Jim McNally, it's possible head coach Bill Belichick will be punished as well. Most outlets are suggesting a multi-game suspension for Brady. The organization may also be subject to a fine and loss of draft picks.

Tedy Bruschi insists to Damien Woody, to his face, that Damien Woody does not respect Tom Brady just because he thinks he is guilty here.
