Former Cleveland Cavaliers head coach David Blatt is finalizing a deal with Turkish professional team Darussafaka, reports Europe-based basketball reporter David Pick.

According to Pick, Darussafakas deal with Blatt will be for close to $2 million per season over an unspecified number of years.

Stunning news out of @IAmDPick today about David Blatt's looming deal to coach in Turkey. Really thought he'd wait for that next NBA shot

He's probably relieved because he'll actually get to coach over there. He did a great job in Cleveland despite all the bullshit he had to deal with and never should have been fired. I would actually give them a better shot to win the Finals if he were still coaching.

The cavaliers were very stupid to fire him after making the finals and leading the team to the best record in the east at the time of the firing. I hope blatt joins the Lakers coaching staff or something
