An extra $20 mill on top of the $12m in 2014, or $20m combined of 2014/2015?

That's pretty outrageous.  I'm guessing they'll restructure if Revis ends up working out in New England.

Revis would count for a $25M cap hit if we took the option, and a $5m hit if we didn't.

It's just more time to restructure. Either he signs a long term deal, or he is one and done, with a 5M cap hit

Damn, he's getting old already. How many years does he have left? Corners seem to fall off around 31-33 so a few years left I guess. 29 going into the year. I guess he'll be around as long as Brady is, basically.

Bosox, how much do you really believe in that PFF stuff? Sure they have their formulas, but the variables are still based off opinion. I look at it as a good basis, but nothing close to concrete.

I stopped taking PFF seriously when they started hyping up Evan Mathis like a hall of fame guard.  They only give him so much love because he gave them a few interviews back when they were first starting up.

First off, amazing avatar + sig combo (and name of course).

Secondly, I've always liked PFF's stuff but I never did realize he did interviews with them. That actually explains a lot, because I've always wondered if Mathis was really as good as they make him out to be...

He's a killer in the run game. He's an above average pass blocker but one of the best run blockers

I don't think Mathis is a bad player. He's definitely an above average guard, but they're saying that he graded out as the best offensive lineman in the league since they started evaluating players, and speak of him as if he's an all-time type of player.
