If I were Granger, I'd try to sign with a team where I could get significant playing time. Try to get one last contract.

He'd actually get that in Houston. Houston needs to phase out guys like Omri Casspi, anyway. I'd love a bench of Granger, Lin, DMo, Asik, Hamilton. Forget Casspi. Save Garcia for playoff time.

Casspi should close and open games....on the fucking bench. I hate the guy. So inefficient, and a terrible defender.

Heat, Pacers, and Thunder is 3 teams that are definitively better. LAC will get a chance to add themselves to that list, as well, with another matchup looming.

Are you suggesting the depleted, old Spurs? The overrated Dubs? The jump shooting Blazers with a coach who can't figure out their bench? The rising Raptors?

Name 7 and provide decent arguments, or drop it.
If there are 3 teams "definitively better" than why do you keep saying the Rockets have as good a chance as anybody? LAC is better (knowing how this board works, HOU will win tonight and you'll try to say that's not true, but either way). The Spurs when healthy aren't losing a playoff series to the Rockets. A Rockets/Blazers and a Rockets/Warriors series could both go either way, depends on which team gets hot at the right time.

You're so confident in the Spurs, still. Ridiculous. They. Are. Done.

I don't think they're winning a title or anything but I have faith that with a healthy roster they'll still have something to say in the playoffs.

It's definitely possible, barring the wrong matchup. I think they're more susceptible to teams like GS and Memphis, this year. Maybe even Phoenix. I think they'd trounce Dallas and beat Portland, though.

Well, Dallas isn't a good team, and Rick Carlisle can beat anyone on one night, but he's not going to beat a better team 4 out of 7 nights.

Portland, I just don't like how Stotts handles the minute, nor do I like jump shooting teams in the playoffs.

How is Dallas not a good team? They're 12 games over .500 in the West right now. Looks pretty good to me...

It'll show come playoff time when they lose 4-0 or 4-1. They're carried by Carlisle.

They had Carlisle last year and didn't make the playoffs.

What they didn't have last year was a healthy Dirk. They have that again this year and he's playing phenomenally.

He's shown interest in the Spurs in the past, and I have a feeling he'll be in silver and black before the playoffs.

That goes without question. He'll be on a roster by the weekend.

Even the "experts" have been saying that since 2008. Every year, proven wrong.

What's "depleted" about the Spurs?

I was referring to right now. And sometimes teams can't get healthy, and the trend for that season continues.
