Dallas Keuchel won an American League-best 20 games and notched one last victory in 2015 by collecting the AL Cy Young award.

Keuchel got 22 first-place votes for 186 points from the Baseball Writers' Association of America in results announced Wednesday. Toronto's David Price finished second, drawing eight first-place votes and 143 points. Oakland's Sonny Gray finished third.

Price tweeted his congratulations to Keuchel shortly after the announcement.

Do you believe he was the most deserving candidate? Who would you of chosen?

I wanted Price simply because he was my choice on Opening Day and I wanted my prediction to be right

Keuchel, Price, Gray were all fantastic this seasons, but Keuchel was a bit better than the rest

He is the most deserving. Clearly the best pitcher in the AL this season.

Anyone that can go undefeated throughout an entire season in a hitter's ballpark like Minute Maid Park in Houston deserves the award. The fact that he pitched well away from home did not hurt him, either. He is simply one of the best in the game, this year.
