If Nene takes that kind of pay cut just to play for Miami, I would give him props. Not many athletes these days who would be willing to take that kind of paycut just for a better chance at winning.
Like Pugz said he could take a lot of many and still play on a contender of some sort, to skip out on that and take 6 million would be nuts.

Sam Amick:

For my Kings folks, don't give up on the idea of free agent center Samuel Dalembert returning just yet. I spoke with him today and he said: "Now, we (the Kings) have players with 1 year more experience, knowing exactly what it takes, and I see the hope."

Dalembert said he likes the moves the Kings have made, most notably picking up former teammate John Salmons: "I see the future for them."

Of course it doesn't hurt that he's well aware the Kings have to spend some $18 million to reach minimum payroll by opening night. As for Dalembert taking Miami's $5 mil midlevel (over 4 yrs), I told him I just don't see it happening, to which he said while laughing, "Anybody ever tell you you’re too smart for your own good?"
