Surprising. Don't think he will get much more than that and I would rather have J-Zim than Cueto.

I'm actually not surprised. Cueto's agent wisely has him waiting for the David Price sweepstakes to begin and end. The Red Sox or Dodgers are going to vastly overpay for Price and once that happens, the bar is raised for the other Aces on the open market.

Yeah I don't know at all why this is surprising. Even if you don't like him as much, Cueto is the back end of tier 1 not in tier 2 with Zimmerman, and he turned down less money annually than Zimmerman got, he can definitely get more

I would take Zimmermann over Cueto any day of the week.

Zimmermann is definitely more consistent than Cueto is. This is not really surprising, but he might wish he'd have taken the offer.

I would also take Cueto over Zimmerman. This is also a lower AAV than Zimmerman got

Cueto has been an ace, and in the CY Young over the course of his career. Zimmerman has not
