Wherever Prince Fielder finally lands, it'll surely be a massive deal financially. Teams that have been linked to the 27-year-old first baseman include the Chicago Cubs, Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers, Toronto Blue Jays,
Washington Nationals, Los Angeles Dodgers, and his former team, the Milwaukee Brewers.
The Boston Globe has it that the Cubs "are not major players" for Fielder, who hit 38 homers for the Milwaukee Brewers this past season.
CBS Sports reports that Fielder is looking to make the kind of cash that Albert Pujols, who is four years older than Fielder, is raking in from his new team, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim: $254 million. (Aren't we all, Prince?)
CBS notes that the Texas Rangers, who "aren't even completely in the game yet" could snag Fielder if it can get approval to spend that kind of money on a long-term deal.
