Cromartie Calls Out Rookie Torrey Smith

New York Post - Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie returned to practice on Thursday and had a few things to say about rookie Ravens receiver Torrey Smith.

Cromartie suffered bruised ribs and a bruised lung recently.

He will likely cover Smith, who had five catches for 152 yards and three touchdowns last week in his first start, in Sunday's game between the Jets and Ravens.

"He had one big game," Cromartie said dismissively. "That's it. He has five catches for his whole career."

I got nothing against a little smack talk here and there but its not like Smith was calling him out or w/e. Dude's a rookie.

If the rookie was running his mouth then I understand. But idk, it seems more like Cromartie trying to get a headline.

If the refs don't call a bunch of bullshit calls on Cro this week he can definitely shut him down. 3 of the 4 calls against Cro in the Oakland game were horseshit calls.
