He's significantly better than any non-Favre Vikings QB of the last 20 years, but this team will not stay as healthy as they did this season with the exception of Cook moving forward. Having a relatively great QB is awesome but I fully expect our depth to be tested very much these coming seasons as I'm sure the injury trend will revert back to, and perhaps even past, the mean.

He bet on himself twice, and he won. Have to respect it.

Teddy Bridgewater is/was humble.

Case Keenum always thanked God.

In steps Kirk...

"YOU FUCKING LIKE THAT!?"

I'm pumped. Vikings need a fiery leader behind that offense. Cousins wasn't really wanted in Washington and never played with defensive support ranked better than 25th. The potential is there. And fuck, Sam Bradford getting $15M guaranteed with a degenerative knee...!? I'll take Cousins with 3-years guaranteed.

The dividends might not pay in year 1 because we have a murderer's row of a schedule, but this will prove the right signing over time

They're all in at this point. Next season could very easily be an 8-8 year with their schedule so they just have to be prepared to stay the course.

Home: Chicago, Detroit, Green Bay, Arizona, San Francisco, Buffalo, Miami and New Orleans.
Away: Chicago, Detroit, Green Bay, Los Angeles Rams, Seattle, New England, New York Jets, and Philadelphia.

7 of their 8 away games are potential losses with the Jets being the only sure win, imo. Home games against Stafford, Rodgers, Jimmy G, and Brees? 4 potential losses there.

This schedule is brutal.
