The presidency of Barack Obama is entering the final year and he was asked if he would have interest in being part of an ownership group of an NBA team.

"Absolutely," said Obama.

Obama closely follows the NBA and is a fan of the Chicago Bulls.

"Well, you know, I know [Jerry] Reinsdorf pretty good—he’s not giving that thing up anytime soon. But I have fantasized about being able to put together a team and how much fun that would be. I think it’d be terrific."
Apparently Obama would love to be an NBA GM someday. He seems to know a lot about sports (politics is a different debate) -- what do you think? Would he be any good? Who could you see him taking over for?

haaaaaaaaaahahahaha

I'm not making a judgment on quality but damn this would be hilarious, I think he's more likely to do something like a minority share of a team like the Bulls before moving to becoming a full-fledged GM, and I think he'd be better with an owner or more specialized front office type of role than as the GM, just because there's so much more to that than watching and knowing basketball

Let's recruit Barry O to the sim league

He'll never be a GM for a team, unless a team in desperate measures is looking for a boost in their popularity and media coverage. If Obama is your GM, Sportscenter will have 3/4th of their show dedicated to that team.

Curry has taken over the NBA section of sportscenter. They slob on his knob so hard.
