I'm sure it does. But time heals all wounds. ;)

History has shown that this has never happened in any sport. There has never been a player of Lebrons magnitude that would disrespect a city so much and return. Why would he return anyways? And I dont mean it in terms of the talent on the team because it is getting better once again. But more so the fact that he will have so much pressure once again to be "the man" and also the testy relationship between Lebron and Gilbert. Gilbert you can tell has a lot of pride and I dont think he would even consider bringing Lebron back.

Gilbert and LeBron's pissing match is obviously a huge obstacle, but LeBron's entire family (including his fiance and kids) still live in Ohio. If the Cavs have cap space in 2014 with an inciting young roster, I'm sure he would entertain the idea of a return.

The fans burning his jersey is irrelevant. Cleveland fans are extremely fickle. The fans still boo Carlos Boozer relentlessly. They'll accept him back and buy new jerseys.

Easy way for him to get his status of being loved and a hero again as well.

Wouldn't it make more sense to force a trade (like CP3 Did) so the team gets MULTIPLE first rounders in return?

Thats why I'm not buying into this nonsense.

Shaq said the same thing

Shaq asked for a trade to Miami once the Lakers said they wanted Kobe over Shaq

But he soon started to hate Riley's personality, most notably hated the weight program. Miami slimmed down Shaq a lot, and LBJ might be weaker than he was be because of this

(Source: Shaq's book, which is phenomenal)
Credit my dad's best friend for that. Haha
