Now watch them flip Ron Artest and some Capri Suns to the Grizz for Rudy Gay..I swear this is sickening
Breaking News: Steve Blake and a bag of fritos sent to Minnesota for Kevin Love.

he NBA: Where teams already at the luxury tax line can acquire the best point guard in the NBA, and keep their best trade chip in Bynum...

Remember when Mexi said they would trade for Odom, so they could trade him for other pieces?

So now the Hornets are going to trade the lesser valuable piece for something else. What a concept!

Bynum is suspended for the first five games of the season. WTF is that front court going to look like?

Also on the front court issue, they're clearly going to get Dwight Howard. All it took for the Hornets to cave was Lamar Odom.. The Magic might throw in 10 first round picks since they're getting Bynum

I'm anticipating a long rant post from nolafan as well, it might be a classic.

Lol no, I'm happy we got something for Chris. I think him going to LA of all places is bullshit, but I could careless about that team. All I've heard all day was how Curry and Gordon were pulled from the deals and the Hornets weren't getting any offers that were good. Martin, Scola, Odom, Gragic (?), and a 1st rounder is a decent package.

Not was I was hoping for, but I can deal. I think the Hornets actually got better with this deal, and have some pieces that they could flip for younger players. Would anyone be surprised if Odom or Scola are traded?

Hornets shoulda just dealt the homie to ATL. Teague and Smoove or Horford would have been better in my biased opinion

Man, thank God the NBA locked out to prevent the stars from forcing their way to big market teams and playing with other superstars.

The Hornets are going to be a classic example of a mediocre team that never gets better. They have a bunch of good role players that will constantly compete for a 8th-6th seed, won't be bad enough to get a superstar in the draft and become a top team eventually. Not where you want to be. They should be blown the team up, not gather role players.
