No expert or anything but seemed to me the Celtics would have had to tax their future to make the deal...don't think the Lakers did in this one.

You're telling me to be objective? You're sitting here selling Goran Dragic and a late 20s pick as if its good..

Coming from the guy who's team benefited most from the trade, that's pretty hypocritical. I don't really care that much about the NBA. Hell, I don't even really think this should have been veto'd but the reason it was is valid.

The Hornets get quantity over quality. For a team that, as you say, is struggling to get people to come to games quantity doesn't exactly bring in the fans. I don't really know the terms of the other deals so I can't speak of those. I'm just talking this one.

If there is a system to veto such trades for the "competitive balance" then, like it or not, it was actually used correctly. Problem is, it should have come into play beforehand for some other deals. Isn't that something that should have been discussed in the new CBA though? So, the way I see it, the problem here goes well beyond CP3 not being a Laker.

I agree it could have been used before, but you have to start some where, and right now is a good time..

Danny Granger kicks

Due to the sabotaging of the LA/NO trade by david stern, and following in the footsteps of my athlete brethern Metta World Peace and Chad Ochocinco, I'm changing my last name to "Stern's Bi#&h" #effectiveimmediately
seriously tweeted it

Those trades significantly benefited the other teams financially. Not to mention the amount of money the Cavs took in just for role players.

The Wizards actually got Z's expiring contract and a 1st round pick, for Jamison who had 2 years left on his deal. They won that deal.

Once again Buck Nasty a.k.a Dan Gilbert is letting his wrath being felt by being the main voice in the CP trade block.

I'm glad he is "letting his wrath be felt", small markets have been getting shafted for years. They need a voice, and I guess he's the only one willing to let his opinion be known publicly.

As much as I don't like Gilbert, I'm so happy he did this.
