Someone help me on this, why not just stay in San Diego until 2019 and then decide if they want to make the move to LA? Seems like playing in SD 2 more years would be better than playing in a 30,000 seat stadium.
 
I know they had the deadline to opt into the LA stadium, and staying in SD at that point might be futile but still makes some sense to me

The Spanos family is going to make bank off this move. That's why they moved to LA, even if they lost their current fan base
