Josh Smith is way more athletic and a better passer, otherwise I don't hate the comparison. I always liked T-Jones at Kentucky.

Jeff Green is better right now but like BWare said, Jones isn't a finished product. If the Rockets are trying to go all-in though, Green could help.

Green could help any contender. I don't think a solid rotational swing man could hurt anyone. And he can play the 4 in small ball which is always nice to be able to go to
He's the kind of player id like the Bulls to have if Rose wasnt fuckin sitting on the sidelines.

I don't act like that. I supported Chandler when he was a rookie because I knew he'd be as good as he is now. I think the same about Terrence Jones, who's showing the same level of progress that Chandler showed in his second season. You want to know what I really think about Houston's players? Here goes:

Patrick Beverly is a bottom tier point guard who only works with Houston's roster because he's an extremely good defender. Without the perfect situation, he's not in the league.
James Harden is the best scoring 2 guard in the league right now, but potentially the worst defensive two guard in recent memory. He's a sieve on the defensive end, and is easily the most frustrating player on Houston's roster. If his man cuts baseline for a dunk/layup one more time I might flip shit.
I don't have anything bad to say about Chandler. Great all around player.
TJones needs to get his three pointer going and work on his pick and roll defense.
Dwight stalls with the ball in the post too often and creates a lot of unnecessary turnovers that could doom the Rockets in the wrong situation.
Motiejunas can't play defense, and doesn't rebound like a 7 footer should.
Francisco Garcia is a cold night away from being completely useless.
Omri Casspi sucks about 90% of the time. Now and then he has a good night, but he's terrible everywhere but on offense.
Aaron Brooks is useless unless his shot is falling, and is way too small to be any good on the defensive end.
Ronnie Brewer is 6'7, 235 pounds, and is only good for the amount of space that he takes up. I wish we'd cut him.
Greg Smith is too limited offensively for me to really dig him as a player. He shows flashes but always regresses.
Omer Asik is a great player who Houston should honestly try to keep if they're unwilling to trade him.

Terrence Jones is a good player who's only getting better. I'm not "dickriding" him or anything of the sort. I'm simply seeing what he can be, and I'd be unwilling to trade him for a guy like Jeff Green, who is no better now than Terrence will probably be by next season, or even at the end of this season.

If you don't watch Houston games I don't want to hear about homerism. Notice I said games. Don't wait for one bad game by TJones and come in here acting like he's a shit player.
