I just think of Artest & Kobe in the Playoffs, and what the physicality. Going to miss that. Although, I dont like Artest, it was entertaining to watch.

Next season's star-studded NBA Finals is going to be even more anticipated than Celtics vs. Lakers.

Boy...I can't wait to see Kobe take on LeBron.

Defensively it is a great move. I dont think it will be that great offensively though. Definetly gonna be entertaining though to watch the lakers.

I think you have officially earned the title of SI's biggest hater lol congrats.
I intend on winning that award.

On topic: The Lakers got much better than before, but signing Odom back would really be make them a force that could possibly rival the Bulls of the 90's.

So pretty much Artest just replaces Ariza as started. Upgrade, definitely. On both ends for sure. Upgrade personality wise? Probably not.

I can pull it a different way too, you're from New York, how does your opinion on the Lakers mean something.

This is why I do not like to comment on this stuff, because everything gets so heated, I like to stay out of that stuff. But I need my 75 posts ;] I like this signing, it shows not every player in the league is greedy. I expect a Lakers and Cavs final if the Cavs can work out the PF situation.

Ken Berger (CBS) says the Ron Artest, Lakers deal may actually be 5 years, around $33 million.

yeah and espn is still on the 3 year 18 mil deal. i'm not sure the lakers or artest would wanna commit to a 5 year deal... but idk.
