lol. As if scoring makes a decent defender better than one of the best and most versatile defenders in the league.

Stop looking at PPG and deciding who the better player is. Draymond Green is a better overall player.

You still haven't answered at how Draymond Green is that different from Tony Allen.

Green can guard big men, Allen can guard quick guards. Both can guard wings.

Tony Allen is literally, a role player. You can't build your team around Tony Allen, nor can you Draymond.

It's been shown on many occasions that you can build around a guy like Klay.

And I'm not at all saying that Draymond is a bad player -- he's very good for sure. But he isn't a better player than Thompson. There's a reason that the Warriors didn't move him for Kevin Love.

I just don't think you can definitively say that a guy who can score more but isn't even close to as versatile of a defender is definitely a better player. Draymond can score from anywhere, too--while the comparisons to Tony Allen make sense, Draymond can actually shoot the basketball, and can drop 20+ on any given night. He's one of the best defenders in the league--he can guard pretty much every single player in the NBA sans a few of the centers, and even then he'd likely hold his own to some degree. I know we can't necessarily quantify that ability, but the Warriors would be in much more trouble without Draymond than they would Klay.  If they lose him this offseason, they're not going to be even close to the same team.

Nothing you said changes the fact that Draymond green is a role player and Klay Thompson is a star

I disagree. If he isn't scoring, he's not there.

He's a very good on-ball defender. Not as good as Green, but much better than Steph.

Curry's great at getting steals and turns, but Klay is the lockdown of the two.
