I'd rather have Delly, he's at least willing to shoot and will move the ball rather than pound it for half the shot clock just trying to get assists rather than actually look for the teams best shot. Also I'm sure Delly would be much better in the locker room

Exactly, there's a reason why all these players are getting paid 40+ million total while Rondo has to settle for a 2 year deal. He's trash.

I remember how long it took some here to realize Rondo is trash and has been for a while.

At least this move keeps the Bulls from being the laughing stock of the East. Rondo/Butler is a respectable frontcourt
Respectable? Lol it has the potential to be much better then that. Butler is one of the best two way players in the game.

However, this will all come down to Rondo. If he is motivated this can be a deadly backcourt. Unlike Rose he will stay on the court, pass the ball effectively, not take bad shots, and play defense. His personality is the only risky thing here. Worth a shot. Bulls haven't had a guard like this in maybe forever.

Also, Rondo actually had a nice year. With a terribly ran team by the way from top to bottom.

Very excited. Brings excitement back to my Bulls. Really it's a win win move. Not locked into a big contract. And If he pans out the Bulls will be in a great position in 2017. They would then be able to attract a nice 3rd player to be alongside Jimmy and rondo.

If it doesn't work out then just move on and sign a legit pg in free agency. We'll be able to offer a max to someone.

This can be a real fun year. Things have to go a certain way but we will see. Always am optimistic.

Rondo is one of the worst starting PG's in the NBA who never follows a system and does what he wants and gets into fights with his teammates/coaches. He can't shoot at all, and he turns the ball over way too much.

The only thing that was true out of what you said is that he has personality issues. Still worth the risk. The reward can be very nice. If he plays like he did last year the Bulls will have something to build on for sure.

His jumper was even solid last year. Who knows what will happen. At least the contract is super friendly. Especially with the cap rising again next year.

I have no fucking idea what the Bulls plan is at this point. I'm fairly certain that they don't either.

Rondo MVP bruh. Only if we let him wear his headband. Or else it'll be a long year

I'm pretty sure Gar said he wanted to get "younger and more athletic" in the post-Rose trade presser.

So he gets Calderon and Rondo.  Fucking nailed it.

Rondo is pretty overrated on D. Gambles on steals way to much.
