Bucs decline offer to be on HBO's Hard Knocks

The Bucs have declined HBO's offer to be featured on this year's Hard Knocks.
With the lockout already costing all teams the offseason program, there will be even less room for distractions during training camp. The Bucs apparently didn't want to be the ones to deal with the drama this year, even if it could help boost the profile of their young core and charismatic coach Raheem Morris. No word yet on what team will take the plunge. Of course, if there is no training camp then there will be no Hard Knocks.

They should pick a team like the Detroit Lions or Green Bay Packers, those would be 2 great franchises to watch.

I haven't actually seen this show, don't get HBO, but i'm not surprised by this. I know they say "any publicity is good publicity" but i'm sure they aren't the 1st team to turn it down. It's just not something everybody wants to be apart of.

There has been a few teams this year, the Saints turned it down also.

I say Seattle should do it, I'd like to see Carroll.

Never honestly watched an episode of this. So I have no idea how good or bad the show is, but I know the Jets got a lot of publicity for doing this.

I wouldn't want my team under the microscope of this TV show. Dealing with the media would be enough for me.

I was surprised to see the Lions turn it down. That would of been interesting.

THEY'VE ALREADY DID A BENGALS ONE.

Am I the only person to actually watch the damn show?
No, I watched the Bengals series, the Jets series, and a little bit of the second Cowboys series
I dont know if I want em to do a falcons one tho. It'd be pree cool and I know I'd watch every episode, but ehh, I still feel like we need to start winning in the postseason before we start adding distractions/extra media coverage and what not
