The Milwaukee Bucks are working on a contract extension with Jason Kidd.

Kidd led the Bucks to the playoffs in his first season with the team but they took a step backwards in 15-16 after re-signing Khris Middleton and also signing Greg Monroe in free agency.

Kidd also took some time off during the middle of the season to undergo hip surgery.

Kidd is entering the final season of his current contract with the Bucks.

That's what I thought as well.  It's incredibly idiotic for these teams that have some reservations about a coach to change their mind a few months later and sign them to extensions.

Is Kidd going to try another power move that will fall flat on its face?

Nice for the bucks. I really like Kidd as a coach. Stupid nets for letting him go.
