Dude i saw bernard pollard at the chiefs draft party he is fukkin huge. For the Chiefs, I have two. On offense, Jamaal Charles. The rookie Running back out of Texas who was selected in the 3rd round. Will be the backup for Larry Johnson and will complement LJ pretty well as LJ is more of a power runner and Charles is more of an elusive speed guy. And plus if LJ goes down with an injury again, Charles will be the starter.
On defense, there are a lot of possibilities for people to break out. But I think I'll go with Turk McBride. He was selected in the 2nd round last year, had a bit of a disappointing year last year. He's switched positions, he's now a defensive end, and will be on the opposite side of Hali. And he's looked GREAT in camp from the reports that have been released.
Two other names to watch out for will be Bernard Pollard and Brad Cottam who is another rookie and is a very unique 6'7 TE from Tennessee. Thought to be the TE of the future after Gonzalez retires.
Ernie Sims hasn't missed a game. He's played in all 16 the past 2 seasons. He's went out of games with injuries, but never missed one. Hell he has 259 tackles in the past couple of seasons.Seeing as he had an ok rookie season due to injury, watch out for my man Calvin Johnson.
I can see Ernie Sims being Pro-Bowl caliber too if healthy.
