I know it's a ridiculous thought at this point, but is there any chance it might backfire? Durant is still going to be an iso player. I know he's still one of the best spot up shooters but I could still see a clash of styles and some differences within the team

True but if the Warriors won, I doubt they are landing KD

Trade Love to add some depth and players that actually fit with the team

Yeah, max contracts are the dumbest thing ever. When you have guys like Bradley Beal getting the same contract Lebron can get your system is flawed.

No he's not. It's all leverage, he isn't leaving Miami to go to some boring Midwestern town that isn't close to competing. If he leaves Miami he is going to Cleveland somehow

Yep. Shit like this is why I have absolutely zero interest in the regular season. Waste of time with have the league making the playoffs and 12/16 teams having no shot at actually winning
That isn't close to competing? LOL

Bucks have more talent than the Heat. And he went to school in Milwaukee and said it changed his life forever and visits Marquette often.

Please don't tell me you think the Bucks are close to competing for a championship lmao

They didn't even make the playoffs in a weak East, and big deal, a lot of players visit their alma matter often. College changes everyone's life forever

Go ahead, like I've said in the past, I never thought they had a legitimate chance at signing him.  That was all sarcasm.  Did I think they'd get a meeting?  Yes.  If they met expectations I still think they would have.

Wade-Middleton-Giannis-Parker makes the playoffs next year easily.

Ok so what, half the league makes the playoffs. They stand no chance against the Cavs, and would struggle to beat the Raptors or Celtics with that group

Miami is 1000x nicer than Milwaukee and he is already a legend there. He isn't leaving just so he can make the playoffs

he didnt sign for the max tho
If there was no max contract you think he'd turn down about 50 Million a year for this? Also that would change what Steph and Klay and all of them are paid
