Pujols is better now, but to be honest I think it has more to due with age than anything else.
Both have MVP seasons at the age of 29, putting up similar numbers, just saying.
If you turned back the clock a few years A-Rod would be in the same exact boat as Pujols in terms of best players in the league. I mean A-Rod is 34, but he also starting playing in the MLB at the age of 18. He's already been in the league for like 15 years.

So you can't say Pujols is twice the player A-Rod will ever be.
