I would agree with you, but if Scott Skiles can't pull him out of that I don't think Cheeks will be able too.

Think Chauncey will have a bigger effect than Mo.

But Mo did have a positive effect on Russ.

I want to see a before and after stat about how many shots his teammates average with him on the court versus him off the court, and I want to see if the Pistons score more or less, too. Fuck this guy. He's a significantly less talented 'Melo without size.

The Bucks scored 4 more points per 100 possessions last season with Jennings off the court last season. That's a very large number. They shot a better percentage as well.

They also allowed 9 points less per 100 possessions with him off the court, which is a astronomical number. 11 points per 100 possessions the season before, which is unheard of.

Then looking at Larry Sanders play with Jennings on the court, his points per possession dropped nearly 2.5 pts with Jennings on the court, his fg% dropped, and his rebounding numbers dropped because Jennings poor shot selection does not lead to rebounds (in fact, Milwaukees offensive rebounding dropped more than 5% with Jennings on the court). Shockingly, there wasn't a single player on the Bucks roster last season whose offensive production actually got BETTER with Jennings on the court. They all dropped by at least 2.3 ppp.

Off topic, but Sanders offensive production was at its best when he was on the court with Reddick, Dunleavy, and Ilyasova. Floor spacers yall.

And to look at lineups again, I know yall do not like the guy, but I think Rodney Stuckey could be a huge asset to play with Smith and Drummond. Stuckey got into the lane on 55% of his shots last season, and that is exactly the kind of guy who Josh Smith has benefited playing with the most during his career. Drummond also benefited from playing with Stuckey the most last season, except for Austin Daye in limited minutes (shooters! floor spacing!).

A lineup of Billups, Stuckey, Smith, and Drummond could be an excellent lineup. Just have to decide who else to put out there, Monroe is the obvious choice, but another shooter on the wing would be HUGE.

A Green for Monroe trade would be pretty solid for both teams imo. While Green is our top scorer, he's still not a go-to guy like Melo is. And we aren't winning anyways, so it's not like we need him. Plus if we get Jabari or Wiggins, Green is gone anyways.

Brook Lopez torched us in 26 minutes of play for 20 points. We have no center, and while you use Monroe at PF he can play center.
Also Gerald Wallace in preseason has looked solid at SF, as an all around rebounder/scorer/defender. Could use his leadership for this team.

And Jeff Green would help these Pistons a lot. Like Nola said, the Pistons could use another floor spacer. That's Jeff Green for ya. He was one of the best left corner 3pt shooters in the league, lights out from there. It creates a lot of fast break opportunities. He can also play 2-4 on the court. Smith can replace Monroe's rebounding numbers, and is a very good tough defender down low. And somewhat this hypothetical Pistons team has an offense that is extremely deadly, and almost impossible to match up with.

You have CB and BJ7 at the guards, Green and Smith at forwards, Drummond in the paint. You have both guards as ball handlers, one who can shoot and one who can drive. You have two tall wings, both fast and agile, with the ability to shoot it from deep and drive to the hoop. And then you have one of the biggest centers in the league in Drummond, who when put alone by himself could create tons of problems for the defense. You play a spread based offense, and the defense has 3 options to choose from: let Jennings chuck up open shots, let Drummond have it's way down low, or let the defense crash in and leave Smith and Green wide open. The defensive backcourt might be a problem, but you can fix ways around that (like putting in Kyle Singler at the 2)
