UCF quarterback Blake Bortles will declare for this year's NFL draft, a source confirmed Sunday to ESPN's Joe Schad.

The Orlando Sentinel, citing a source with direct knowledge of Bortles' decision, earlier reported Bortles would forgo his last year of eligibility.
The redshirt junior is expected to make his decision official during a Monday morning announcement.

Bortles is considered one of the top quarterback prospects in this year's draft class.

Scouts Inc. lists Bortles as the second quarterback (behind Louisville's Teddy Bridgewater) and 15th overall prospect.

ESPN's hype train declares.

You're going to see hype like this every year for the foreseeable future.  QBs like Bortles, Carr, Ponder, Manuel, etc.; project QBs going higher than they should because of demand.

Of course. I really need to watch more of both Bortles and Carr, but really, from what I have seen I'd grade them out between the 2nd or 3rd round. Neither of these guys have touch, which is a totally underrated trait. I just don't see much that makes me think either of them will be much more than a spot starter. But I really do need to watch more before I completely make my decisions on these two.
