Make some bold predictions for the 2014 season. I'll start us off.

1. The Warriors land a top 3 seed

2. The Pacers win a playoff series as a lower seed.

3. The Raptors compete for a top 2 seed in the East.

4. Houston sucks.

5. Minnesota competes for a playoff spot.

Is it crazy that I don't agree with any of these haha.

Would the Pels missing the playoffs be more bold than them making the playoffs?

That team is an enigma.

Not really. I was going for "out there."

I really like this Minnesota team. They are not better immediately, but they are better in the future without Kevin Love.

They lack shooting, they're not really going to have much of an advantage at front court to make up for it, no one on their team can really penetrate whenever they want, and they have no dominant scorer. Based on their current skill level, its just a team filled with spare parts everywhere.

They lost a top 10, maybe top 5 player in the league and added rookies. They're going to be bad.

They have a good future, but now is not even close to the time

Pelicans will finish with a higher seed than Memphis and Houston.

Memphis for sure.

I think both those teams have some things going on behind closed doors that could get ugly.

For now:

The Spurs finish in the 3-5 range, ousted in the first round of the playoffs

Kyrie will lead the Cavs in scoring

Lance Stephenson finishes top 5 in MVP voting

LeBron does not finish in the top 3 in MVP voting and averages the lowest amount of points and rebounds in his career aside from his rookie season

Dion Waiters gets all-star consideration

Portland never really comes close to making the post-season

Sixers run off a losing streak of AT LEAST 30

Russell Westbrook averages 34 ppg while Durant is out

I'll have more later

The Wolves won't finish anywhere close to a playoff spot
