I read up on this.
Basically, Nike CAN re-design the uniforms and present them to the teams, but the team doesn't have to accept. So pretty much, teams with "classic" (fucking ugly) jerseys will keep what they have, while, I assume, some teams, will want a new look, and added revenue.

Heard different from the Jags equipment manager.. he said it was in the contract or wtfe that nike can't redesign.. could be wrong though.

I guess we'll see in April 2012.

From what you heard, that they can't re-design, would that just be for this year or the future too?

Future.. he said it was in the contract that Nike signed with the NFL.
