I've never been a fan of hiring a head coach immediately after he gets fired. No opportunity to reflect on what he did wrong in his stint, not going to change anything about them.

It's hard to believe it considering they were so bad his last few years, but Rex Ryan maximized his team in every season, and they played WAY over their heads for the first two.
 
He will be much more successful in Buffalo, imo.
