Kobe Bryant was incredible during the last NBA game of his career in Wednesday's 101-96 win over the Jazz, scoring 60 points (22-of-50 FGs, 10-of-12 FTs) with four boards, four assists, one steal, one block and six 3-pointers.
You couldn't write a better ending to the Black Mamba's career. This was the most points scored by an NBA player this season, beating out Anthony Davis (59) and DeMarcus Cousins, and this was also Bryant's sixth 60-point game of his career. He finished in third place on the all-time scoring list with 33,643 points, trailing only Karl Malone (36,928) and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38,387). Bryant will go down as one of the greatest competitors in all of sports and an all-time great in the NBA.

Can not think of a player that has gone out with a better performance. This was history that will never be forgotten.

It truly was amazing to see that performance. Granted, he did take 50 (lmao) shots, but in the 4th quarter when he was heating up and providing us with one last look at "vintage Kobe" it truly was a special thing to watch.

At 44% from the field, I'm not complaining lol. Heck, I'm surprised he didn't shoot 22 for 70 with the way he's shot most of this year.

He took 50 shots and his team won. Its not like he took 50 shots and his team lost by 20. Why is this a complaint?

yeah the percentage was solid and he had 4 or 5 awful threes that he was forced to take at the end of the shot clock. He murdered Utah from mid-range/in the paint though.

My favorite part of the whole thing was watching the young guys, Clarkson, Randle, and Russell, who all grew up obviously watching Kobe, reacting to what he was doing last night. Like I can't imagine what that was like to be playing along side one of your idols in his last game ever and watch him go off for 60 points. Their faces at times were priceless. I thought that was awesome.
