Who do you think has the best bullpen in the major leagues? From top to bottom, which pen is most consistent and gives the team a lot of versatility.

I don't know much about other teams bullpens, but I'd like to think that the Yankees pen is pretty solid.

The Red Sox have a very good pen as do the Dodgers. The A's, when healthy, are pretty good too.

I think the Bravos' bullpen can surprise some people this season. Adding Saito and Wagner can do nothing but good, IMO, for an already decent/good bullpen

White Sox pen has a lot of question marks.. Jenks had an off year, Putz you don't know what to except, Tony Pena is just meh, but I do like Thornton.

Rockies have a nice pen, Dodgers do as well.

Blake is the only one with sense lol

Its the Giants and thats even from an unbiased perspective. They had the best bullpen last season and haven't lost any of the consistent pieces except Justin Miller. They'll manage this year with the players they're adding to it. I think they could repeat as the best bullpen in 2010

Rays have a pretty underrated bullpen. Maybe that's because they didn't have a real closer last year. If this was 2 years ago I would have said the Jays but last year most of our relievers struggled with control.

Best bullpen easily resides in Yankee land... Best closer of all time in Mariano Rivera (for Mexi), Joba (will be much better off in the pen), Marte (our lefty specialist), Robertson (throws gas, is young and very efficient) and our long-reliever stud in Aceves.

EDIT: We had the best bullpe last season and it was proven on the field, not on paper.

I knew it...I knew he'd come in and say this

Dude, the Giants had the best bullpen and that was shown not only on the field but by the statistics...

AL batting > NL batting

Therefore: Yankee bullpen had to face tougher line-ups every day.

I love the A's pen.
may not be the best, but i love it

Dodgers should be good again. some key guys like Belisario and Kuo wont start the season, but they should be back sometime probably in early May.
and they got a ton of depth there. i mean a ton

but wtf DH?
I never said Mariano wasnt the best ever. He is

Broxton is good though. He'll probably have the best statistical season this year for closers.
seriously, dude had 114K's last year in 76 innings. only 29 walks
he blew some saves (like in the playoffs) but he's young. 26 in July

Im going with the Dodgers on this one. Broxton throws fire from the closer position,Sherrill is a great setup man who has closer stuff. And then you have Kuo, Troncoso, and Belisario who you can mix and match with. Great bullpen right there.

Can you ever not be biased? Just wondering.

The Yankees had question marks all over their bullpen last season and they lost and almost lost several of their games. If they didn't have Rivera, they'd have a strong argument for being the worst bullpen in the league.

But our pen also won a share of our games. Once Hughes became our set-up man later in the season with Aceves as our long reliever and Robertson who is solid and improving with each appearence, it was easy for us to get to Mo. I see that continuing this year except we are replacing Hughes with Joba.
