So glad that headache is out of Pittsburgh. Hope he doesn't sniff another Pro Bowl.

So the Raiders swap Cooper for a first round pick, and end up with Antonio Brown while only giving up a 3rd and a 5th.

The Raiders have gotten a lot of shit for some of their recent moves, and rightfully so in some cases, but they seem to be in decent shape right now.

I'm not sure if the remainder of AB's prime years fit with the Raiders rebuild window, however.

I think they are almost finished their rebuild, honestly. Two year tank to get a two defensive BEASTs to build around... that'll be with Quinnen Williams, Nick Bosa, or Devin White this year, and someone else next year.

Like if Nick Bosa is anything like his brother, the Raiders essentially flipped Khalil Mack for another Bosa on a rookie salary and picks. Not a bad haul.

And now they flip Amari Cooper, a 3rd, and a 5th for Antonio Brown and a 1st.

Also they also have almost no money tied up next year. Only Carr and AB make over $12M, and only five total make above $5M. That's nothing. Hell, they can cut Carr for $5M in dead cap and get a stud QB instead. They have so many 1sts that they can "test-drive" the rookies this year to see what type of FA to go after when they officially relocate.
-------------------

TL;DR

• Raiders have 5 firsts round picks in two year span
• Can spend a shit ton of money next offseason
• Vegas, baby.

Fuck it.

I stan a new team every year to follow along with the Pats.

I'm so interested in how Mayock and Gruden are going to build the Las Vegas Raiders in 2020 with $40M in practical cap this year and $100M+ next year.

Raiders are drafting a QB this year, unless they want to gamble on Winston or Mariota in 2020. I can't see TB or TEN giving him the franchise tag with their current performances. I think Kyler+AB and other FA talent in LAs Vegas is going to be dope

I can't imagine Winston or Mariota being a franchise QB to bring into Oakland. Neither have done much, which is obviously why their currently teams probably don't want to franchise tag them. They need to get themselves a QB in the draft, I just think the QB class this year isn't anything special. But who knows, maybe Mayock will use his skills and find a gem.
