The acting Yankee closer suffered a chip fracture in his right arm, thanks to catching a line drive off the wrist. Miller will be evaluated by a specialist and then go from there. He's likely to begin the season on the DL, leaving Dellin Betances to step in and fill the role that Aroldis Chapman was brought in for.

Yankee pen is suddenly thin. The 2016 implosion many of us have predicted may be off to an early start.

Wow. That bullpen now has Bentances...but once they get Miller and Chapman back, watch out. I don't see the Yankees making much noise this year.

He has said he will try to pitch through the injury, as it is his non-throwing arm. It might affect his fielding, however. We'll see how things go.

Interesting. I am not sure that is a good idea or not, but more power to him if he is still dominant.

Yanks keep taking the hits to their pitching and I without a strong SP/RP core, the team will fail miserably this year.

If he comes into a game with runners on, I would expect the first hitter to bunt the ball to make him field it. We'll see how he does after that.

Knowing Andrew Miller, let's hope this derails the rest of his career (as long as he's a Yankee).
