Lockette was an unheralded receiver and special teams stud. He was just starting to get first team reps on the outside when he got injured. He was big, fast, had a great catch radius, and always seemed to make plays when he was at receiver. His chance to shine at the position came far too late, and a dirty hit cost him his career. A truly sad story, but his perspective is refreshing.

I didn't read the whole article, so is he done?  Out of the NFL because of his injury?

It was actually a pretty clean hit.  He wasn't even blind sided. It was just an unfortunate series of events.

Damn, didn't know the injury was enough to take him out of the league.  Feel for him.
