He plays great defense and he can attack the hoop very well. Not a bad shooter either

They drafted Huestis specifically to be in the DLeague. He won't play at all this yr

And Roberson is solid defensively, but KJ is the better defender, and KJ isn't so offensively anemic that you have to take him out after 7 minutes

He's lengthy enough that you can put him at the 3 in small ball situations and have KD at the 4. They don't have anyone really to use as a stretch, aside for Perry Jones maybe.

Idk, I'm just happy because I was really high on him in the draft process, he falls to the 2nd round, and he is exceeding scouts' expectations now. He's not worth a Top 10 pick clearly, but he should have been a post-lotto 1st

I too was surprised he fell to the second round. Same with Jerami Grant. Sixers really had a good draft assuming Embiid turns out as expected.

But Roberson is the better on-ball defender than McDaniels. KJ is an unreal shot blocker for his height but that's just one aspect.
