I know but below .500 teams shouldn't be able to have an All-Star starter on it. Maybe reserve but starter...no.
This is an all-star game. This is a game that showcases the league's stars.

The playoffs and awards are used to showcase the best teams and reward players who lead those teams.

Honestly, besides maybe Billups, no Pistons are even close to being all-stars.

I don't like Wade being in either....but a player can be an "all-star" even if their teams suck....the teams record has nothing to do with this. Period.

Zach Randolph is averaging 17.1 PPG and 10.4 RPG.

Crawford has 19.8 PPG and 4.7 APG.

Sheed is averaging a pathetic 12.3 PPG and 7.2 RPG. He's shooting 42% as a PF/C.

Hamilton has 19.1 PPG and 4.4 APG.

Sheed and Hamilton aren't close to being all stars. Hamilton is a pure scorer and can't create his own shot. Of his 19 points, 3 are from free throws, and of the remaining 16, at least 14 come from off ball screens.

I'm not saying Crawford or Zach are - but if Sheed and Rip are being considered, I'd put Crawford and Zach over both of them.

I find it really retarded how it's solely based on fans's votes. Players that are having breakout seasons don't even have the chance of being in the team. How are David West and Brandon Roy not on the All Star Teams? Also, how is J-kidd starting? His team is below .500. I don't see how CP3 is not starting.

Stephen Jackson and Baron Davis BOTH deserve to be in. I have a headache so I won't say the reasons why right now.

I think the fans should have some say so, but not all of it
i hope the NBA changes the rules

man, i wonder who will get snubbed in the West?
Roy,Baron,SJax,David West,Josh Howard?....and of course Bynum which is understandable since he's injured

Uh.....its not. Coaches and GMs I think vote in like 2 players or something...but I agree, they should have more of a voice in this.

And once again team record has NOTHING to do with this.

Ok I will now give reasons to why BOTH Baron and Captain Jack DESERVE to make the team.

Baron Davis: I really don't need to say much. His game speaks for itself. 2nd in the NBA in steals, leads ALL Point Gaurds in PPG, leads ALL PGs in bpg, and 2nd in rebounds for all PGs (behind Kidd)

Stats:
PPG 22.3
RPG 4.80
APG 8.1

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Stephen Jackson: This man is amazing. He has won the Warriors many games with clutch shots and has made many big plays to closing close games. He is one of the leagues most underrated defenders and players in general.

Lets not forget he is putting up career highs in most every category this season. Most importantly, the Golden State Warriors are 28-12 since Jackson returned from his 6 game suspension in the beginning of the season. This is BIG and a large reason why I, Charles Barkley, Magic Johnson, and many others say he should make it.

With him, the Warriors are a totally different team. He is a leader and just guy the team can't be without.

Stats:

PPG 20.2
RPG 4.50
APG 4.2

Honestly, I would rather have Jackson in the ASG over Baron. Both deserve it though. Doubt either will make it. =[

I think they will be snubbed by overrated players like Manu and Parker. <_<

Who cares, CB4 deserves to be a starter. I would have taken him over KG.
