LaMarcus Aldridge has agreed to sign with the San Antonio Spurs on a four-year $80 million max contract.

Aldridge chose the Spurs over the Phoenix Suns.

Aldridge will have a player option for Year 4 of the deal.

Itll be easy to beat because Parker and Ginobli are past their primes.

Lol, Im just playing devils advocate. I think they'll be good as long as Duncan, Parker, and Ginobli dont get caught with HGH lol.

I mean they have to slow down eventually.

I don't think Aldridge will make them THAT much better.

They are going to win the title because that's just how the world works. Spurs win it every two or three seasons, law of the universe. After this next one this season, maybe Duncan, Parker, Ginobili and Popovich retire. Then they'll just keep winning every two or three seasons wit Aldridge, Leonard, Green and that chick coaching.

If parker and LA are healthy they can be a top 2 team out west for the next two years.

This time of year everybody judges rosters by raw talent. What you should be looking at is fit, continuity, and depth. I don't see Aldridge as a balance of power shifter, I mean he's nice but he isn't making a team that wasn't a contender into one and he isn't making a team that is a contender into the clearcut favorite. Then you take into fit, Aldridge hurts what SA does best on both sides of the ball.

You're also forgetting they have the best coach in the world.
Popp doesn't bring him in if he didn't think he would make it work.

I'm not arguing it won't work, just arguing that I don't think he will move the needle. They won't be better than they were at the end of this season.
