But you never explained why their offense was dirt poor. All you did to back up your statement was make more statements that have NOTHING to do with the conversation. Their postseason run has NOTHING to do with the current lineup, a lineup that consists of a leadoff man in Granderson who had a .364 OBP, who can also hit for power. A lineup that has two power hitters at 3 and 4, both of which are capable of hitting 30 HRs if they're healthy. A lineup that is rounded off with Neil Walker who can hit 20 HRs, d'Arnaud who had 12 HRs in 67 games, a 23 year old outfielder who was the best bat in his draft and is now going to get a full season, or David Wright who hit .289 with a back injury.PWNdroia said:We were talking about their offense. Their offense is dirt poor. The only way they've even come close to having an offense is because of players making miracles. They do not have enough offense to win this division, unless they win it by default because the Nats implode again.
See, you're just ignoring the facts and making statements. I have never ONCE disagreed with you that we had some miracles to make that World Series run, but that has nothing to do with THIS team NOW.
But whatever. I'm done with this argument because it's clearly a waste of my time. Does the Mets offense have weaknesses? Absolutely. Does that mean they're dirt poor? No. That was my whole point.
