Player protests. Owners making stupid comments. Players getting arrested for domestic violence. Zeke. Sean Smith. Et cetera.

Forget it all for this moment. Watch this young man become overwhelmed by joy and gratitude. Watch Teddy Bridgewater be a human being and not just a football player.

I have been outspoken about my thoughts on Bridgewater as a starting quarterback in this league. That is based on what I have seen thus far in his career. Let me clarify something else, though. I very, very much want to see Teddy Bridgewater succeed in this league. His high-level character. His leadership. His willingness to be around the team during his recovery. This guy is a team player to a T. A class act in an age where they don't seem to be all that common. I hope that, if the Vikings proceed with him as their starter, I am wrong about his ceiling. Because as an individual, Teddy Bridgewater deserves the greatness he seeks.

Forget team alliances for a minute, gentlemen. As high level football fans, high football IQ fans, fans who are more invested than most, fans who love the game dearly. Stand with all of us Vikings fans and enjoy this moment to its fullest.

Marquise Goodwin falling to his knees in the endzone after scoring an 80 yard TD was a powerful moment as well, but in a different way. His son passed away earlier that morning.

Teddy going down last year was tough because he’s such a good guy. We did a Teddy Bear drive in Nashville as part of the pregame. I’d like to see him get another opportunity to lead on the field but it’s not happening right now. Less a couple of throws, Case was lit yesterday.

I was legit praying that Jenkins didn't tackle him

There’s a notion Bridgewater will get the start vs Rams that’s gaining steam. LaCanfo-whatever says it will be Keenum. I personally don’t think Zimmer is dumb enough to disrupt offensive chemistry and make an emotional personnel decision. Case earned the start but he’ll be on a very short leash.

Yeah, it'll be Case. Not sure why the media buys into Zimmer every time. He never reveals ANYTHING until later in the week. If you asked him who his #1 CB would be, he'd forego stating the obvious with X and say he'll let you know later in the week.
