We will be starting our 6th annual SI player rankings.

Don't be afraid to share your opinion, whether it's a popular one or not.  We will once again be going 10 spots deep at all 5 positions.

Please remember these two things, please vote on the polls and vote for the best player, don't be a homer.  Most of the polls will be open 24 hours, but if the first place vote getter gets 5 or more votes than the second vote getter than I will close the thread if I'm around.

Remember, this is based on who is currently the best player, not who has the potential to be the best.  Who would you take today?

2016 SI SF Rankings
1) LeBron James
2) Kevin Durant
3) Kawhi Leonard
4) Paul George
5) Carmelo Anthony
6) Gordon Hayward
7) Giannis Anteokounmpo
8)
9)
10)

These rankings are dumb as fuck. Guess that's what happens when we vote on a forum.

You're the only one voting this high on Rudy because of your homerism lol

Crowder should be on this list before Rudy Gay and Tobias Harris

He also shouldn't be voted in the Top 10, but like, he's still better than those two on the list

crowder and harris's shooting numbers are near identical, and jae's the better defender without a doubt

Rudy's a better scorer but a much worse defender than jae

It's kinda all moot, since I'd vote for Batum here, then Wiggins, and then Parsons, but still.

The leagues SF position just seems so thin. I think the dirty little secret regarding Wiggins right now is that he really isn't that good, he doesn't have the impact on the game you would think he does. Batum? He's been extremely meh the last two seasons. I mean I know he's always injured, but Danilo Gallinari intrigues me more than those two guys. He'll throw Parsons in there as well.

Parsons yes, Gallo no. He's horrendous defensively among starters

Ok so do you guys want every player I can think of or just ones in the ball park? Make up your damn mind.

If you are seriously going to vote for someone that isn't on the list just tell me. Pondering about someone who may get a vote at #10 is bitching about useless shit.

He's certainly a negative defender, but all of these guys are.

Like I said when you originally did it, you should have kept them from the start.

He was ok, but he's really regressed since that 13-14 season. But I don't have a problem with him at 8, which says a lot about the depth of this position.
